First-in-Human Compassionate use of Veinway’s Traversa
Ann Arbor, Michigan and Or Yehuda, Israel, March 2, 2023 — In a first-in-human, compassionate use case approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, University of Michigan Health Interventional Radiologists Dr. David M. Williams and Dr. Minhaj S. Khaja successfully used VeinWay’s Traversa for venous recanalization to save a patient’s leg that was close to being amputated.
